Marcin Szala is an experienced educator. Currently he is one of co-founders and heads of an innovative high school in Poland - Liceum Artes Liberales. He believes in lasting transformative power of education in making societies fairer, more resilient and empowering. Previously he was a deputy head and part of the founding team of Akademeia High School, an academically selective school in Warsaw. He has experience in teaching TOK in an IB programme and lecturing in teachers development programme with Collegium Wratislaviense, where he was also Programme Director. He studied Physics and Philosophy at Oxford. He is an alumni of Leadership Academy of Poland, Salzburg Global Seminar fellow and is supporting UWC Poland / Polish Scholarship Scheme.
