Polish eTwinning National Support Organisation Foundation for the Development of the Education System warmly invites secondary school teachers who are new to the eTwinning programme—working in vocational, technical and industry schools—who are interested in implementing eTwinning projects with their students and cooperating with schools from other countries, to take part in the international eTwinning seminar “From Language to Practice: Bilingual Projects in VET”.
The seminar will take place on 2-4 July 2026 in Warsaw, Poland.

Teachers from 10 countries will participate in the on-site event: Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, France, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Tunisia, Latvia, Portugal and Slovenia.

The event will be conducted entirely in English. The organisers expect that during the seminar, participants will establish new international contacts and set up their first international eTwinning projects.

Additionally, during the seminar participants will become familiar with:

• the ESEP platform and the eTwinning programme,
• the concept of bilingual education,
• practical examples of the use of bilingualsim in secondary eduaction,
• ICT tools supporting language learning & international online cooperation.

PRACTICAL INFO:

• Applications are accepted only in electronic form. Please pay particular attention to the information entered in the application form, as it will be used to approve applications after the recruitment process is completed.
• Participants will need laptops with the ability to connect to the hotel Wi‑Fi network (important: tablets or mobile phones are not sufficient for active participation).
• Each seminar participant who attends the entire event and joins a project will receive a certificate of participation, issued free of charge.
• Cancellations are accepted up to 14 days before the event only via email at: jolanta.gradowska@frse.org.pl.
• The organizers ensure accommodation from 2-4 July 2026, meals, and conference materials. Participants cover their own travel costs to the event.
• Applications are accepted until 15 June 2026. In case of a large number of applicants, recruitment may be closed earlier.
• Applicants from other countries than Poland, must be first accepted by eTwinning NSO in their country.

Conditions

Conditions for taking part in the seminar :

• You work at a secondary school (for example a technical or vocational school) that follows the national curriculum.
• You are an active teacher of any subject at a secondary school.
• You have an active eTwinning account on the new ESEP platform.
  If you do not have one yet, you must create it before filling in the application form:
  • first, create an account on EU Login,
  • then create an account on the European School Education Platform.
• The seminar is for beginners in eTwinning – you have not done any international projects and have not taken part in similar events before.
• You can communicate in English – all sessions will be held in English.
• You are willing to start an international project.
• Priority in the recruitment process is given to pairs of teachers from the same school: one language teacher and one vocational (VET) teacher.
