The National eTwinning Support Organisation at the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE) cordially invites teachers from schools awarded the “eTwinning School” label who are interested in implementing eTwinning projects with their students and collaborating with eTwinning Schools from other countries to participate in the international online seminar for eTwinning Schools, “Future Starts Here: Empowering eTwinning Schools for Change”, which will take place from 23 to 25 September 2026, from 16:00 to 19:15 CET, in an online format.

The event will bring together teachers from 9 countries – Poland, Albania, Austria, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, North Macedonia, Slovakia and Spain.

The seminar will be conducted entirely in English. The organisers expect that participants will establish new international contacts and initiate international eTwinning projects during the online seminar.

In addition, participants will learn about:

• opportunities for the further development of eTwinning Schools,
• the concept of future readiness,
• the principles for educational innovation,
• advanced features of the European School Education Platform (ESEP) and the eTwinning programme,
• practical examples of promoting eTwinning Schools within local communities,
• the fact that participants will need a laptop with internet access (important: tablets or mobile phones will not be sufficient for active participation),
• the application process, which is conducted exclusively online. Please pay special attention to the information entered in the application form, as registrations will be approved based on the submitted data after the application period closes,
• each participant who attends the entire seminar and joins a project within 30 days after the seminar concludes will receive a certificate of participation. Certificates are issued free of charge.

Applications will be accepted until 16 September 2026. In the event of a high number of applicants, registration may be closed earlier.

Conditions of participation

1. Have an active eTwinning account.
   • If you are not yet registered, click here to join the eTwinning community.
   • Registration takes place in two stages: an initial stage and a verification stage. The verification stage (completion of registration) becomes available after receiving an email at the address provided during registration.
2. Be a teacher working in an educational institution that has been awarded the “eTwinning School” Label.
3. Actively participate in the entire event (3 afternoon and evening sessions).
   The organisers expect participants to attend all scheduled plenary sessions and take part in all workshop sessions.
4. Participants will need a laptop or desktop computer connected to the Internet. (Important: tablets or mobile phones will not be sufficient for active participation).
5. Every selected seminar participant who is present throughout the entire event and registers or joins an eTwinning project (created during the seminar) either during the seminar or within a maximum of 30 days after the event will receive a certificate of participation. The certificate is issued in digital format and is provided free of charge.
